Each precinct in Shelby County has one person who has been elected to a two-year term serving the Republican voters of their precinct. Being a precinct Central Committee member is a year-round position. As the link to the voters in their community, they are the grassroots party activist who lives among the people they represent. Your neighbors may not follow politics on a regular basis, but they still want to vote responsibly. They count on their GOP Central Committee representative to help provide accurate and timely information on current candidates and issues. Your precinct representative is your voice in the Shelby County Republican Party Central Committee. They attend monthly meetings and are supportive of our candidates, elected officials, GOP events and activities.
